Dr. Naveen Nishchal
In 2018, Dr Nishchal Co-founded Meddo Health – an innovation-first network of Clinics that is the fastest growing outdoor care network in India today. Dr. Nishchal is also the Co-Founder of Cygnus Hospitals, a chain of 10 hospitals which he led as Director Operations & Quality.
Dr. Nishchal regularly actively represents the healthcare industry at national and International arenas through ‘’Voice of Healthcare’’- a Not-for-Profit industry advocacy and synergy platform that is working towards the challenges of accessibility, affordability and quality in the healthcare domain.
Dr. Jitender Sharma
As part of his work he proposed setting up of Asia’s first medical equipment manufacturing zone and is the Founder Managing Director & CEO of Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone, Visakhapatnam. He also set up Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Institute of Technology- a Government of India funded technology policy institute and National Medical Devices Promotion Council under Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India. He is the founder Chairman of Medi-Valley – incubator under Atal Incubation Mission of Niti Aayog and Bio-Valley incubator under Dept. of Bio Technology, Govt. of India. He is the chairperson of National Biomedical Skill Council, under National Skill Development Agency. Dr. Sharma has been appointed as a Distinguished Senior Fellow at National Institute for Transforming India (NITI Aayog) which is Government of India’s central policy making institute.
He is adjunct faculty at University of Adelaide, Australia and supports the World Health Organisation, Headquarters in Geneva as Expert Advisor for medical technology. He has authored 2 books and 20 research papers. He has been designer and coordinator for several technology intensive programs in India and teaches courses on technology policy globally. He was Awarded the European Union –India Young Leaders Award at European Union Parliament for his distinguished work. Dr. Sharma has two PhDs, four masters and seven fellowships and his trainings include those at reputed institutions such as AIIMS- New Delhi, Uppsala Monitoring Centre-Sweden, PMDA-Japan, JBI Institute- Australia and Harvard School of Public Health-USA.
Mr Neeraj Lal
In his last role Tim was Responsible for Global Technical Support and Regulatory affairs and has been working in the medical field for more than 40 years.
He has been a member of the Dutch Norm group from the day of foundation in 1980 and has participated in the German DIN, and the French AFNOR.
Since 1988 he was the convener of TC 102 WG 4 Packaging Materials,
Tim is as well a participant in ISO TC 198 WG 7 Medical Packaging and CEN TC 205 WG 14 Surgical Drapes and Gowns.
Over the years he has visited many hospitals globally and spoke on numerous international conferences. During his stay in India he has spoken in various conventions and visited several hospitals and surgeons in Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Mumbai among other cities.
Tim is committed as well to several medical education programs and has published several publications.
Tim has been attending the INDA, EDANA and SBA (Sterile Barrier Association as a board member) meetings. Tim led EDANA’s Task Force infection prevention conference –
“ IN CONTROL” in the role of Chairman.
Tim now consults with some of the most respected companies worldwide.
