THE BIG IDEA AND INSPIRATION 

As a healthcare consultant Shweta Gandhi – The brains behind the idea, she is a former healthcare consultant, who worked on various projects with medical giants before identifying this need-gap, spotted gaps in clinical diagnostics, especially on the delivery or patient side. After observing a time-crunched physician checking her mother's lab test report to diagnose sleep apnea, the penny finally dropped : The report is not yet doing its basic job, because all that it contains is some numbers splattered across a piece of paper without any clarity or roadmap for the user. All that rich data was just waiting to be decoded intelligently, so that it could become actually beneficial for the student. Indeed, to every stakeholder in the care ecosystem, if one took the holistic view. 

THE INFLEXION MOMENT 

Goodbye job, Hello grind. With Joyneel's help, Shweta conducted an extensive 3 month-long primary and secondary market research in Delhi NCR, and went on to build the MVP - the first functional Smart Report.

THE NEED GAP BEING FULFILLED 

Digital platforms have come a long way when it comes to providing patients with 24/7 access to critical data and same-day lab results. But viewing raw data rarely translates to extracting optimal value from it. And with Gen Z beginning to age into the healthcare engagement cohort, it’s likely they will increasingly demand personalization, relevance and access, as has been the case with all sectors. Most people are anxious and ill-informed while going through medical reports (as they've traditionally been made just for doctors), leading to a not-that-great checkup experience and suboptimal health outcomes.

The question that Shweta & Joyneel (married couple running the show at NirogGyan) had been asking themselves since a decade was simple, yet profound: How can we connect this data back to the patient in a meaningful way?

1) Viz App (Wikipedia meets Instagram meets Smart Reports): An all in a mobile-first webapp.

2) AI Video Reports:  The brand essence is all about personalising diagnostics-driven patient journeys and delivering outstanding customer experiences. Techies, designers and doctors have therefore converged to pioneer this new product by partnering with Generative AI startup PixAnimate.
